A Photo-documentary of Japanese internment at the Heart Mountain Relocation Camp in northwest Wyoming. This exhibit of the photography of Hansel Mieth and Otto Hagel, commissioned by Life Magazine in 1943 and published in the book The Heart Mountain Story by Mamoru Inouye, offers a rare glimpse of life at the internment camp were Japanese-Americans from the Yakima Valley were sent in 1942, in the year following the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
